The Junior League of Tyler supports our local community by providing funding and volunteer placements to both League-initiated programs and other nonprofit organizations in Smith County. These resources are allocated through the League’s Community Coordinating process and the Community Assistance Fund, which ensures that efforts align with community needs and the League’s mission.
Our Community Coordinating Grants are designed to make a significant impact by providing substantial monetary support and volunteer assistance to meaningful community projects within Smith County. These projects must align with the League’s mission and purpose.
Applications for Community Coordinating Grants will open on June 9, 2025, for funding during the 2026–2027 League year.
If you want to learn more about the application process and how to submit a strong proposal, we invite you view our JLT Grant Training Application presentation document below. The presentation is designed to provide detailed information about our funding opportunities, eligibility requirements, volunteer integration, and tips for submitting a successful application.
The Junior League of Tyler, Inc. offers the Community Assistance Fund as a way to address the short-term needs of eligible nonprofit organizations. Grants from this fund are limited to a maximum of $5,000.
